What we need to buy your car today

To kick off the process, all we need today is your reg number, a few photos and some easy car details. When we come to collect your car, we’ll also need the following:

Your V5 logbook/registration certificate. This needs to be registered in the name of the current keeper
Any service history/service books
Photo ID. E.g., driver’s licence, passport
A proof of address (e.g., a recent utility bill)
Car keys (including any spares)
Date of your car’s last MOT (we can’t buy cars if the MOT is due to run out within three months)

They’ll give our admin team a call to make sure your original description matches the car.
One of our appraisers will talk you through the payment process – in under 30 minutes, you’ll receive a secure NatWest payment link to your email. Simply follow this link to receive your funds.
Once you’ve confirmed you’ve received your payment, our driver will set off with your car (so make sure you say any final goodbyes!).

If you’re dropping off your car, our appraisal team will carry out the same process, making sure you have your money before you leave.
