Competition Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to the BigWantsYourCar.com £1000 Amazon Prize Draw (“Competition”) run by Bapchild Motoring World (Kent) Limited / TA Big Motoring World, Unit 2, Ambley Green, Gillingham, Kent, ME8 0NJ(“the Company”).
By entering into the Competition, you will be deemed to have read and accepted these terms and agree to be bound by them.
- Eligibility
1.1 The Competition is only open to residents in the United Kingdom who are over the age of 18.
1.2 Entrants will not be permitted to participate in the Competition if they are an employee of the Company or relative of an employee, or anyone else who is related or associated with the Competition or its operators.
1.3 Automatic entry is triggered if the car collection is completed within 7 working days from the initial enquiry.
1.4 If the collection is made after the 30th November 2023 this will not trigger entry into the Competition.
- Competition Prize
2.1 The Competition Prize consists of a £1000 Amazon gift card voucher, provided by the Company.
2.2 The Company reserves the right to substitute the prizes (or any portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value at its sole and absolute discretion.
2.3 All costs and expenses associated with receipt of the prize, and any use not specified in these terms and conditions, are the sole responsibility of the winners.
- Winners
3.1 From all valid entries, the Company will randomly select a winner and will notify them by the end of the first week in the consecutive month. The decision of the Company is final, and no correspondence will be entered into after the decision.
3.2 The winner will be notified via email by the Company to confirm they have won the Competition.
3.3 The Company will make all best endeavours to ensure that the winner receives their Amazon vouchers within a week of being notified of their win.
3.4 The winner may be contacted to arrange a photograph of them being awarded their prize. They consent to the photograph being used by the Company across social media, the website and by the media. If the winner is not available for a photograph to be taken within a suitable timeframe (as determined by the Company), then they must provide an alternative photo which fits with supplied guidelines, if requested.
3.5 The winner agrees to grant the Company a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence, for the full period of any intellectual property rights with the winning entry information and any accompanying materials, such as photographic, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the entry detail and any accompanying materials for such purposes.
- General
4.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Company may, at its sole discretion, exclude the entrant from participating in the Competition.
4.2 The Company will only process the entrant’s personal information, and personal information derived from the application, as set out in these terms and conditions and in accordance with the company Privacy Policy – a copy of which is available on request.
4.3 The Company reserves the right to hold, void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
4.4 These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Extra £100 for your vehicle will be added to the guaranteed vehicle quotation in instances where less than 24 hours has passed between the point of your initial enquiry through to your vehicle collection date. To book a collection date in, you will be required to send across vehicle photography and any requested documentation including all service documentation (your service book & any service invoices), your driving licence/passport, your current vehicle V5 document and, if applicable, a settlement letter for any outstanding finance. Extra £100 is non-transferable and cannot be refunded or exchanged. No cash alternative is available. All guaranteed quotations are subject to inspection in person and we will carry out an appraisal before we offer to buy your vehicle. We reserve the right to change the guaranteed offer quoted subject to a physical appraisal in instances where we find that your vehicle history or condition has been misrepresented online or where vehicle modifications have been made that were not declared online.
